I. Purpose
The purpose of this Standing Rule #11 establishes guidelines and procedures for the implementation of the Solivita Smashers Pickleball Club Sponsorship Program.
II. Sponsorship Categories
The Solivita Smashers Pickleball Club Sponsorship Program offers four sponsorship categories:
Gold Sponsor – $1500 (12 months):
- Recognition during the Opening Ceremony for Smashers tournaments.
- Opportunity to speak at the opening of Smashers tournaments.
- Vendor table at Smashers outdoor events.
- Inclusion in Smashers event and tournament e-blasts.
- Logo placement on promotional Smashers tournament items.
- Banner display at venue during Smashers tournaments and outdoor events.
- Logo featured on the dedicated webpage at Smashers Pickleball Website.
- Logo on Smashers travel team t-shirts.
Silver Sponsor – $1000 (12 months):
- Inclusion in Smashers event and tournament e-blasts.
- Logo placement on promotional Smashers tournament items.
- Banner display at venue during Smashers tournaments and outdoor events.
- Logo featured on the dedicated webpage at Smashers Pickleball Website.
Bronze Sponsor – $500 (12 months):
- Banner display at venue during Smashers tournaments and outdoor events.
- Logo featured on the dedicated webpage at Smashers Pickleball Website.
- Small Solivita Based Business Sponsor – $100 (12 months):
- Listing on the Smashers Pickleball Club website under the Small Business Sponsor
- category.
III. Sponsorship Program Procedures:
A 12-month sponsorship period shall begin in the month of the sponsorship payment.
All provided sponsorship logo banners may be displayed at the courts (Freedom Park and/or Palms) during Smasher Club tournaments. Displays not to exceed three days prior to the event and two days after, subject to any policy changes by Castle Group and notified to sponsors. Maximum banner size is 4 x 6 feet.
The Smashers Board will contact sponsors approximately 30 days in advance of events/tournaments to confirm their participation and any specific requirements.
The Smashers Board will notify sponsors in the event of a rainy day reschedule.
The sponsorship levels (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Small Solivita based Business) will serve as guidelines, but sponsorship packages may be customized to meet the specific marketing needs of a sponsor. All sponsorship plans require the approval of the Smashers Board.
Sponsors have the option to cancel their sponsorship at the end of their 12-month commitment.
Sponsors are responsible for providing the Smashers Board with their logos and any other marketing materials required for display on banners, the Smashers dedicated website, or email blasts.
IV. Fund Allocation
Solivita Smashers Pickleball Club is a not-for-profit organization with over 1,300 members.
All sponsorship funds collected shall be used for the benefit including but not limited to organizing events, tournaments, improving facilities, and enhancing the overall pickleball experience.
Sponsorship funds collected shall be kept separate from membership funds.
V. Review and Amendments
This Standing Rule shall be reviewed annually by the Smashers Board for any necessary amendments or updates to ensure its continued effectiveness.
VI. Implementation
This Standing Rule shall take effect on the date specified above and shall be communicated to all club members, sponsors, and stakeholders.
