Team Play

Team Play allows members to play at regularly scheduled days and times every week. Teams have been formed on the basis of a variety of criteria; gender, style of play, level of play, neighborhoods, newbie classes, to name a few. Smashers members are encouraged to join existing teams or create their own.

Open Play

Open Play (Members Only Open or MOO) is a great opportunity to play with others of similar skill level outside your normal league play. Just show up, place your paddle in the appropriate queue and wait for your turn.

Ladders

Ladders is skill-based play. All members who show up on a given day and time are placed with three others closest in skill to their own. Games are played round-robin and scores are recorded.

Training

Smashers offers a number of training opportunities for members ranging from Newbies to advanced skill levels.

Court Reservations

Solivita residents may reserve any available court. Available costs are indicated as open by the blank blocks on the Court Schedule. Please note, a court may appear as blank on the schedule, but may not be available for reservation if the court has already been reserved.

Travel Teams

The Solivita Smashers Travel Teams provide members competitive game play outside Solivita. It serves as an opportunity to visit other communities and learn from them and better prepare Smashers members for tournament play.

Tournaments

Smashers sponsors several tournaments throughout the year at Solivita including the annual Solivita Olympics, Polk Senior Games and Ladders Tournaments.

Resident Open Play

Courts 10 and 17* are reserved at all times for open play for all Solivita residents using the paddle queues. (* Court 17 is currently unavailable due to poor playing surface conditions)
