As the largest club at Solivita, Smashers is responsible for all pickleball activities in the community, including team play, training and instruction, tournaments and open play activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\">The Solivita Smashers goals and objectives are to promote the playing and enjoyment of Pickleball in the Community of Solivita and by doing so:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"margin-top:0;margin-right:0;margin-bottom:0;margin-left:0;padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--40)\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop and promulgate rules of play and a player code of conduct to maximize good sportsmanship and members\u2019 access to and use of available Pickleball facilities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage members to participate in, as well as to host, Pickleball matches or tournaments with other Pickleball enthusiasts from other locations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distribute donated funds for charitable purposes to charities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist the Solivita Fitness Director in the management, operation and maintenance of the Solivita Community Pickleball facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Membership in Smashers is open to any resident of Solivita and memberships are renewable on a yearly basis and run from March 1 through the end of February of the next year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-container-core-column-is-layout-119bc444 wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" style=\"border-bottom-color:var(--wp--preset--color--primary);border-bottom-width:2px;margin-top:0;padding-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);text-transform:uppercase\">How Do I Become A Smasher?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents interested in joining Smashers or learning to play pickleball are encouraged to attend the <a href=\"https:\/\/solivitasmashers.com\/sandbox\/training\/newbies\/\">Newbies <\/a>class held each month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For experienced players, please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/solivitasmashers.com\/sandbox\/membership\/join-smashers-2\/\">New Member Enrollment<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who Are The Smashers?
