Congratulations to our Solivita Athletes, Christina Fernandez and Omar Morales, who competed in pickleball at the Special Olympics Florida State Fall Classic held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Nov 10-11, 2023!
Christina won Gold in pickleball singles and was the only woman competing at her level while Omar earned a Silver medal in his pickleball skills event.
A big thanks to volunteer pickleball coaches, Hailee Damp, Erica Gonzalez, David Graham, & Craig Schneider for training the Special Olympics Osceola Athletes.
