On April Fools’ Day, a prank involving signage indicating a closure due to “insect infestation” was placed on courts 8, 9, and 10 which caused players who had been displaced already by the Palms court closure to miss their playing time and also causing concern for safety among members.
No member should be placing signs on any courts for any reason, prank or not. Those responsible owe the players who missed their court time an apology and we hope those responsible will reflect on the impact of their actions and take this opportunity to make amends with those who were affected.
