Any committee formed for the Club for organized team play, tournaments, training, social events, charity selections, etc. must have a seated officer as part of their committee.
President
- Establishes agenda for board and membership meetings, and conduct the meetings according to the agenda. Maintains control of meetings to keep them on subject and avoid confrontations. Submits for a vote any issues needing board approval after discussions are held, and submitting the vote to the Secretary for documentation. Provides a ‘tie breaker’ vote when needed.
- Make certain necessary current issues are addressed, discussed and resolved, if possible.
- Facilitates discussions with Evergreen Lifestyles about court issues, and promptly advise results of those discussions in their entirety to the board members
- To provide a tie breaking vote on discussions
- Assign appropriate jobs to other board members for completion, and coordinate committees when needed.
Vice President
- Appropriately manages any disciplinary issues
- Be prepared to step into any vacancy in the President’s duties
- Attends meetings with Evergreen Lifestyles with the President whenever possible.
- Assists any and all other Board members if needed
Secretary
- Maintains records of all pertinent information in both the Board meetings and the General Meetings
- Maintains records of historical significance
- Maintains records of job descriptions for existing and new board members
- To maintain and submit to the membership according to proper procedures any changes to the By Laws deemed necessary by the board
- Posts approved Club minutes information for the Solivitahoa.com site at appropriate times.
- Submits Reflections articles in the appropriate time frames
Treasurer
- Detailed job description in separate document due to the scope of responsibilities required in maintaining all financial records, membership records, and information for the Solivitahoa.com website, or other Smashers’ websites, trainers, schedulers, etc. at appropriate times.
